All materials (rigid or not) absorb the energy of a shock in different ways. The materials that do it most effectively are viscoelastics like those that make up our A-XOC protectors.

A visibly damaged protector must be replaced. When you fall with your A-XOC under-jacket or base layer pants, or with an A-XOC protector in another garment, and there isn’t any visual damage to the protector, we advise you to contact us, so that we can evaluate with you the damage suffered by your protector.

Protectors do not protect against abrasion, they are shock-proof protectors.

In the version where protectors are integrated into the base-layer wear  (under-jackets or under-pants), they are covered with CORDURA (anti-abrasive). Either way,  it is necessary to wear additional protection, such as Cordura, Kevlar, Armalite or leather, to be fully protected against abrasion.

The protectors have an optimal behaviour of shock absorption between 5 ° C and 50 ° C. The range of temperatures to which they will be exposed in normal use is well within this range, so you will benefit from complete protection.

The life expectancy will always depend on the conditions it has been used and if the protector has been exposed to shock.

Our protectors are design to whitstand multiple impact, and must not be necessarily  changed after an impact, as long as they look untouched and are not broken .

They MUST BE changed in case of visible damage to the protector itself. 

As manufacturer , we advice you to regularly inspect your protectors and your gears.  After a 2 years period , we  recommend to check the protectors before every ride and in case of damage to change it for new one.

The micro technology developed for our viscoelastic polymer and used by A-XOC has a shock absorption capacity that is extremely superior to the materials normally used. This allows us to create thinner protectors than the competition while achieving a superior result.

Your A-XOC base layer pants simply requires a hand or machine wash at 30 ° C maximum and then leave it to dry naturally – do not tumble dry. Protectors should not be removed for washing. Guaranteed up to 50 washes.

It is not necessary to remove the protectors from your clothes as long as the washing temperature is not higher than 30 ° and the item is not being dry-cleaned . Not suitable for tumble drying.

The under jacket and the base layer pants are only available in black at the moment.

It is possible to use the under jacket in all kinds of sports activities with risk of shock and the under jacket is fully suitable for mountain biking, skiing and general sports.

This is an under jacket, which can be slipped on under all your outfits. It is perfectly complemented with a non-abrasive jacket (leather, Kevlar, Armalite).

The fabric of the under jacket is light and breathable and the A-XOC protectors, thanks to their light weight and honeycomb structure, allow the body to breathe more comfortably than other protectors on the market.
